I began my journey to yoga with ancient breathing practices and meditation with my teacher Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in 2006 and it was not until 2014 that I delved deeper into the asana practice and completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Karma Teachers Vancouver. Completing my training allowed me to finally find home within my own body and start living with awareness of its great depths and magic. My teacher says that yoga is not just a weight-loss program, it is a science designed to make you lighter. You lose all the mental stuff that doesn't serve you like anger, judgement, greed, jealousy, hatred etc. 

Like a flower bud, human life has the potential to blossom fully. Blossoming of human potential to fullness is yoga.

With the grace of my teacher Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, service and meditation were my first taste of this beautiful path and have become a very important part of my classes. I believe yoga is a true moving meditation and service is love in action. My goal is to help you slow down, become present, take you deeper within and experience meeting your true self. Through a combination of ancient breathing techniques, healing chanting, asanas, knowledge and meditation you will be able to carry that experience of a meditative state off the mat, into your heart and daily life.
